REFLECT

I went to New York City last year, and came home with lots of photos. For this zine, I drew portions of some of the buildings of NYC (not necessarily the famous ones), then flipped and recolored the drawings to create mirror images. The various intersections of the drawings fascinated me and were amazingly fun to play with. (16 pages + cover: 4-1/8″ x 5-1/4″)

Planting a garden is like archeology at home. I shovel out a hole to plant a hosta and discover a marble. In goes an iris, and out comes a dog tag. I photographed some of my favorite dug-up objects for “Backyard Dig.” (20 pages + cover: 2-1/8″ x 2-7/8″)
